OUR STORY
THE FOUNDATION
- Helwan Foundation for Community Development (Bashayer) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that was established in 2004 according to the provisions of Law 84 of 2002. It is an extension of the Helwan Center for Social Services (Bashayer), which was established in 1987.
The Foundation operates in Helwan, an extended city and part of Greater Cairo. The Board of Trustees includes experts in development work in the areas of development and human rights, especially women and children.

A society capable of achieving comprehensive sustainable development in which the values of tolerance, justice and human dignity prevail, and all persons enjoy equality and non-discrimination in rights, duties, and opportunities to access and benefit from resources
